Onobrychis viciaefolia is a deep-rooted perennial legume with an upright habit to three feet.

  • Deep rooted, drought resistant legume with hollow stem and many leaflets
  • Drill 2-5 lbs/acre in a mix, 30-40 lbs/acre straight ¼ – ½ in. deep. or broadcast and roll
  • Excellent flower for pollinators
  • Does not tolerate or persist on poorly drained soils
  • Inoculate for proper nodulation for nitrogen fixation
