I was very happy to find that this company makes food grade lime powder. I was amazed at how quickly I received the package but was not fond of the hefty shipping price. I would have rather had the item take a long time to get to me and pay less money. However, I had selected the slowest speed but for a 50lb bag I guess it costs a hefty amount or $47. When receiving the item I was not impressed that the package on the inside was busted open and made its way clear out of the outside cardboard box. It was bad enough that there was no way to pick it up without getting the lime powder all over your hands and the powder to puff in the air when moving the box. It was a pain trying to clean the package off when opening the box and making sure it didn’t get everywhere. The lime powder package itself is made of a thicker paper rather than plastic. It is the same type of paper bag used for a bag of flour or sugar for example. I think plastic packaging for the 50 lb bag would have been much better especially where lime powder isn’t something you should breathe in and touch excessively in powder form.
